Medicare Advantage and Supplemental Benefits: New Data and Principles for Implementation

The CHRONIC Care Act, implemented through the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018, has provided Medicare Advantage plans new flexibilities related to offering a more expansive set of supplemental benefits known as Special Supplemental Benefits for the Chronically Ill (SSBCI). On Wednesday, February 26 LTQA and ATI Advisory hosted a webinar to discuss these new benefits, how they differ from traditional benefits, and principles for implementation. ATI also shared data on primarily health related benefits that MA plans are offering in the 2020 benefit year.

For those who were unable to attend, a recording of the webinar can be found here along with a copy of the slides from the presentation.
